We the undersigned demand a second chance at staying in Europe.
With an issue as important as having a nation that can pass to another player on the pitch wearing the the same coloured shirt, we the people of England demand a second chance.
On such a critical issue that will affect generations, unless there is a democratic consensus of over 60% on team selection the result should not stand.
We the undersigned demand a rematch against Iceland as we feel too many lies were fed to us by the media and people were denied access to the true facts about the consequences of playing a 4-3-3 with Sturridge on the wing, Rooney in midfield, Sterling at all and putting Wilshere in the squad, then playing him and expecting him to protect our nation's defence.

FIFA should immediately disqualify Iceland. After much intense research, I have learned that only approximately 11% of the country is covered with ice (glaciers). These scoundrels must be exposed for misrepresenting themselves, ASAP!

It was the dude from Greenland that gave them their name, even though Greenland is covered by Ice, he didn't want people going to Iceland.
I just think we need to make a rule that no English players who play in the Premiership are allowed to play in the England team.

not quite right 2W (how many times must that have been written). Eric the Red called Greenland Greenland to make it sound more attractive. Iceland had been named Iceland for years before Eric the Red was exiled there.
Apparently he was called Eric the Red because he didn't bounce.

VC10 is right about Cloughie and if there was a manager of the same ilk available today, they would still not get the job............... clueless bunch of caants.
Apparently when Schteevie got the job he had a really good powerpoint presentation to show them at his interview, (probablty an urban myth, but you get the point)!
