Rotation, surely it has to be in its

Final throes now, consigned to the dustbin.

Iceland, played the same team in all four games, and it showed big time, cohesion, every player knew what they were doing. Same as Leciester, wherever possible played the same team game after game.

Resting players by Hodgson after the tournament had barely started was about as foolish as it could get. The England team looked like strangers.

If it ain't broke don't change it.

How can you not know your starting 11 after 10 qualifying matches and 3 friendlies? Roy messed up

Yeah because the 11 that started against Russia and Wales absolutely tore them to pieces didn't they? .
Ironically, England's best performance probably came in that first half against Slovakia. As soon as he restored the likes the Sterling, Kane, Rooney etc we looked shambolic. barely able to control the ball and pass it 5 yards.

As with the last 125 times Sandy has made this exact article...

Rotation in and of itself is not a bad thing. Sir Alex Ferguson, the greatest manager of all time, pretty much never played the same team two games running - he always made 1-3 changes according to the opposition, and thereby ensured the whole squad remained match sharp and also not over-tired. And Fergie didn't do too badly for himself with that approach.

Changing 6 players for an important game, however, was clearly a stupid idea, but this article proves nothing in that regard since everyone already agrees with that.

That is a bit of an exaggeration.

But I will give it to you that I have mentioned it a few times.
