that the prem is half decent.
If it wasn't for the foreigners the prem would be no better than the championship.
Yet again english football has been exposed, the england players are technically and tactically inept. Too busy glorifying in the "best league" tag when the truth is they are the worst players in the league.
the likes of Rose,Kane,Alli,Smalling, Wilshere,Vardy etc are ok players but not world class.
Until the FA and dyke stop blaming the foreigners and look at themselves and what happens at grassroots this will continue.
Kick and rush football doesn't cut it, no matter who's in charge
It's the foreigners fault

Posted this on another topic:-
What I cannot fathom is this trail of thought that the Premier League is to be at fault. Well, how can this be ?
The following players all play in the Premier league:-
Joe Ledley
Joe Allen
Aaron Ramsey
Ashley Williams
James Chester
Ben Davies
Sam Vokes
Wayne Hennesey
Neil Taylor
Johnny Williams
Andy King
All play in the Premiership. Yet they show more heart and passion than any other English player.
How can the league they play in be to blame ?

This is what happens when practically half your team is made up of Tottenham players!

The result can mostly be chalked up to a lack of mental fortitude. The players are a bunch of cowards who completely buckled under the pressure. We looked a pub team out there times, Rooney and Kane played as if they were drunken spectators who accidentally stumbled on to the pitch, unable to control the ball and pass it 5 yards. Abysmal.

nothing to do with passhon and pride
these players are technically and tactically inept.
there's a list above with current prem players and to a man they are all dog sh!t. Nations like italy germany spain france all produce players who have skill awareness and execution. what have england got?? rooney.....a blunderbuss of a player who can't trap a ball is unfit and lacks any tactical awareness.
when will people learn

The English system CAN produce players. They have produced the most expensive player in the world, OK he ain't English, but he came through the system.
I just think the English players care more about their clubs than their country.

The technically inept argument is a non sequitur when it comes to explaining this result. We lost to facking Iceland, none of whose players apart from perhaps Sigurdsson would get anywhere near the England squad.

Its the academy system that they came up in that caused the problem. They have been taught to play by coaches who have not taught them suffient technical skills. A lot of these players were chosen by big clubs when they were very young, but we all know that people develop at different rates so just because they are good at age 8 doesnt mean they will the best at age 21. Coaching of youngsters nationwide needs to be imprived so even later developers get the same chance. It will lead to greater competition as well which adds extra motivation than kids who now they will be given their chance.

are you sure about that??
It's this kind of thinking which results in defeats like last nights!!
If I hear any other clowns saying "no disrespect to Iceland but....."
Compare Iceland's results to England's in this tournament and say that again!!
