May very well be upon us. Other rival clubs have gotten top top managers like Pep, Conte and Jose who are all much better managers with title winning pedigrees to overshadow wenger's. It is safe to say these managers will definitely outperform our clueless manager.
Even more obvious to the above is that these managers are building world class teams. I am shocked that a team not in the CL can recruit such players like Zlatan while we in the CL because that's wenger's only objective can't even lure a one season wonder how like vardy.
Alot of the fans are already grumbling bitterly about our inactivity. This can only get worse and one can only imagine how toxic the Emirates will be once the season starts and we are $hit again. And believe me we will most certainly will be $hit once the season starts.
I see the environment being so bad than even wenger's usual nonchalant attitude to such criticism will not be able to withstand it. I see the fans become even more vicious towards and he resigning before the season ends.

We think its his last season every year but he keeps going. Guarentee Pep, Jose, Conte, Poch and Klopp will all have left their current clubs before Wenger leaves us

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad new but he's going to extend his contract mate

OP whilst your sentiments are IMO true, sadly the decision for Wenger to remain at the helm next season is still in Wenger's hands. I believe this because if he succeeds in first major hurdle at the beginning of the season, which is to remain in contention. The 'Wenger Out Brigade' will be pacified (although they may grumble a little) and nothing much will change. All Wenger ultimately has to do is finish in the top four and then he guaranteed an extension on his contract (if he hasn't signed it already).
On the other hand, as you have said, if Wenger has a shaky start to next season, if that is on top of a less than satisfactory transfer market window, the 'Arsene Out Brigade' will hit the roof. Then depending on how bad things get, the board will be left with no other option but to take direct action to calm things down against Wenger which could mean his dismissal.
The problem with Wenger is he is stubborn and treats the fans as if they are stupid customers. The fans will be very forgiving of Wenger if Arsenal doesn't have a good season but he went out and bought proven establish talent e.g. Higuain or Aubamiyang. However the fans are fed up of instances like last summer's transfer window where we didn't buy an out field play which ultimately cost us the premier league title.
The clouds are gathering against Wenger i.e. with all the other teams fortifying and Wenger seemingly sitting on his hands, this could be the perfect storm for Wenger. One that could either make him or break him. But the ball, I believe, is firmly in his court.

How the fack can it get worse?????

Wenger has been offered a 2 year extension. He says he will wait to see how the season starts before committing to signing it. 4th paragraph in this article.

Translation:
I am guaranteed an extension no matter what happens. I will wait until AFTER the transfer window closes before signing. When fans question why I didn't buy in the transfer window I can say I was unsure about my future and wanted my possible replacement to have a chance at buying some players.

It's going to be a very long and painful season with Wenger still in charge. Really hope that he does not sign for another 2 or 3 years . That would be worse than Brexit and that's going to be painful enough when outside investment and hence job creation dries up.
