Should the wheelchair players get the same

Prize Money as the Women and men.

If not, why not?

That's an interesting question. I certainly wouldn't have a problem with that.

The mens doubles yesterday was fantastic.
Beyond wether they should get the same as the women or men, 12 grand for the winners, and 6 for the runners up was p!$$ poor yesterday.
Also, they should have been on one of the show courts.

The men and women took home £2m while the doubles took home around £350K and the wheelchair chair doubles around 16k.

A huge disparity

Depends which way you look at at it.

Do the players bring in the crowds/revenue to justify the prize money?

Should the sport make an effort to provide decent prize money to support the sport and encourage the players?

Personally, I think it should be the latter to some degree.

At the very least a lifetime achievement like that should be a life changing sum.

Ridiculous, sitting down for the whole match. If they put some effort in....

In seriousness, would be great if they did, it looks incredibly demanding getting around the court like that in a wheelchair. And decent to watch too.

No unless they get the same viewers as the very best. Its also why I don't think women should be paid the same as men
