Allardyce: Thoughts?

Expected to be the next England scapegoat/manager.

I for one am not expecting much from this.

Business as usual at the FA?

Should've gone for either blanc or hiddink or even pellegrini, I don't get this 'you have to have an Englishman in charge' attitude when quite clearly they're not good enough at club level let alone taking on the national team job......last Englishman to win this title in England.......sergeant Wilko ! ........just let that sink in

It seems odd how an English man ain't good enough but thinking about it, there ain't that many English men in any form off work in the English league!..

Or should I say the Premier league?..

So, that being the case there won't be enough English managers/coaches in the future, and you cant blame anyone but the FA for that, the system that they endorse is the downfall off the English game!..

Germany, that being the case I think we'll never see an England lift any trophy in the next 100 years !

Well there's our potential solution - JLA to manage England
....oh and while your about it there is a sleeping giant in the North of England that's not doing too well but on the positive side the potential is huge and the fans are totally awesome!!!

Rev Wilko:

1) My schedule does not permit that,
2) We just mentor and train them to go out and heal the world.

It's official then.

I have zero confidence in this hire or the FA.

harj, when you think about how football was and teams from other countries hated playing the English/british teams, these days its the people coming in that are changing it to the way others play!..

And the old has moved on, its just the new has taken over and isn't leaving any breathing space for the English managers, coaches or player's!..

But the English football authority has allowed that to happen and from the look off things its going to be hard to change!..

Unless the British Government change the rules on player's coming in that is!..

Business as usual at the FA who are terrified of hiring a manager who is less than 50 yrs. old and who has new ideas. A total joke.
