IF Pogba joins, which to be fair now seems likely, will Jose let him play?
I have finally succumbed tonight and watched some you tube clips, which was needed really as I don't get time to watch all Prem games, let alone other leagues.
It is clear Paul has continued to develop his flamboyant style, and fair play to him. As many others have alluded to, he seems to not suit a 2 in a 4231, and would seem to be better suited to playing in a free role in a 433, or to put it another way as a more roaming 10 in a 4231 (same thing really).
Either way, I can't remember Jose offering a central player the freedom he will need to be at his best. But he will have to with Pogs, and I believe he will do it, offering the first sign he can adapt his style to suit United's attacking approach.
Jose is no fool, he knows results will bring short term love from the fans, but he will need to adapt to gain longevity, and come anywhere close to his idol - SAF. When remembering him sitting in awe in an empty Old Trafford all those years ago, before the touch line sprint, I am one who feels he has always wanted the job. For many many reasons.
Anyway, drunk babble aside (sorry.....), I am excited about Jose, and see the probable Pogba signing as a signal that he knows he needs to adapt his style.

I don't get this notion that Pogba can't play in a deeper role.
He isn't just flamboyant, he is strong, tall, good in the air and can tackle. Combined with his speed, passing and shooting abilities, he is the complete midfielder and probably better playing box to box.
He should and can play in between Rooney (who will definitely play) and another midfielder like Schneiderlin.

I have seen another poster recommend this formation and line up and I agree with it.

Fair enough. As I say, I haven't seen enough of him.
I do hope though the MS can kick on under Jose as he was great for Southampton.
I think we have a few players that can be like new signings this season...

Can't see Jose playing Pogba. He's only 23 so way too young for Jose side. Well so some would try tell you anyway.

Rooney shouldn't play. We have an upgrade in micky, and Rooney will just slow us down.
Would be a big shout for Jose, but it would be a good one.
