Flanno is a strange one alright, how many minutes in the first team has he played since the injury?

Moreno just bombs on regardless. He makes it too easy for opposition players and managers exploit. . He lacks it between the ears. This is why we see him being caught out inin questionable positions time an time again. He needs to appreciate when to go and when to remain defensively aware. Sometimes he needs to do both. He's just not aware unfortunately, this lack of a footballing brain can separate the good from the very good. On top of this you have to factor in his recklessness and carelessness at times you have a clear weakness that can be exploited.

I'm confident that Milner will do a better job in the left back position, but bringing in another might be a wise move. I doubt we will though tbh.

Bin the Moreno-Manbun-Monstrosity!!!

Can't be that difficult to find a reliable, consistent performer who knows how to defend.

Needing to bin Moreno and Flanno's position are being muddled for me.

Flanno has barely played football at all for well over 2 years. He needs regular games, under a little less pressure. He wasn't even in Burnley's squad yesterday. If he was ready to play for us every week then I am sure Klopp would have kept him, but he just isn't (and may never be).

Moreno needs replacing, but Flanno just isn't ready to be that man.

The mad thing is, Moreno played better second half, and we conceded 2 goals.

He does need competition, but I still think there's a player in there somewhere. Think he just needs some time out of the team.

At this point, I think he's only useful as a sub as a winger on the left.

I don't want him at fullback anymore. I do think he could be a Riise like squad player further forward though.

Moreno isn't a winger. It's like when people used to say Jose Enrique should've been a winger.

He's an outlet on the overlap. But he doesn't have what it takes to play that position alone.

I personally don't want to write him off. He has all the physical attributes to be a top full back. He just needs to switch on mentally.

I think he offers a good option as a sub when trying to break down a subborn defence.

Meanwhile Klopp should give Milner a run in the team in his position.
