Arsenal under Wenger risk being left behind

Almost every team in the Premier League, with the obvious exception of Hull City, is moving forward fast. Are Arsenal? They have made one senior signing so far this summer.

Wenger himself hopes that the club can build on their stable base by improving every other area of work, from nutrition to fitness to data analysis. There is something in that logic but it assumes that the fundamentals are all in place and cannot be improved upon, which is debatable at best. In a season when every rival is re-launching, Arsenal's stability-first approach is a gamble. They are at risk of being left behind.

Wenger is A stupid persons idea of what a smart person is, the most apt description of Wenger by Jane Ganesh.

Give the man a new contract, he deserves it

I assume you mean Janan Ganesh. Jane Ganesh has surprisingly little to say on the subject.

all one can hope is that the club don't go and do something utterly stupid...

Huge club.
Good club.
Rudderless club.

AW's had his time and needs, for the good of your club, to move on.

Arsenal are certain to finish top 2 with or without any signings on my opinion. 1 defeat and everyone goes into panic mode and season is over apparently. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Arsenal were to win there next 8 league games and would most likely be top and then we will see what people say.

We'll just have same season as always. We've got a good squad, just not good enough to win the league. Seems Wenger and the club just don't want to go the extra mile to make us a title wining team. We're close, but they just don't want to make the investment to make us potentially a title winning squad.

We are one injury away from big trouble, not a good way to go into the season
