if you think Vorm would save it then you are suggesting Mig could and should have - which is clearly not true and is clearly a criticism.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No.

I think lots of players can do things that others can't, some players are better than others. That's a fact of life!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
the only way a keeper saves that is if they are in a totally different position - which would have been a mistake in the first place. That goal had nothing to do with ability or error
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who said it did?

Migs rushed rose was right!

You seem to be making a mountain out of a mole hill because I stated migs gets beat to often at his near side!
------------------------------------------------------------------
I usually find you a reasonable poster on here to be fair but you had a go at one of our players when they didn't do anything wrong. Yes mig isn't perfect but why bring it up when he hasn't made a mistake and there are at least 2 other players who have? It smacks of a witch hunt
---------------------------
Where did I have a go at him?

I said he gets beat at his near post to often!!!!

You then come back labelling me biased and a tell me I'm picking on him.

I made a statement which is true, he gets beat at the near post far to often. I didn't say ffs what's he doing, I didn't attack him or lay blame for the goal.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't use the words picking on him by the way.

Still odd that you would chose to make that statement at a point when it had no relation to the incident happening. You essentially chose to randomly highlight a criticism of the guy, which I find unusual for a fan.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You said.

"You picked on one of our players"

----------------------------------------------------------------------
no I didn't. I said you had a go at one of our players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't have a go at him!!!!!!!

I said he gets beat at the near post to often.

If I say that Lallana tends to hold on to the ball to long instead of passing it, am I having a go at him and bias toward him?

Is the point of this forum not for people to give opinions and views?

And I did get the picked on bit wrong!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you say that about Lallana after a series of one touch passes then yes I think you would be. What you were saying isn't really my problem, it was the timing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is like reasoning with a woman!

Good to see the continuation of match threads by the way. I would still do them myself if I didn't go the pub every game these days

Chelsea last year <<<<< Chelsea this year

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really? They've been lucky so far, Costa was lucky to stay on in both games and scored the winner in both. They haven't played well so far
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Points win prizes though, and they've scored again.

Igor, I'm not finding reasons, they're finding me. No need to get snappy pal

Not the point. You think this years Chelsea are better than last years when they've been lucky so far. Should've been two points from two games if correct decisions on Costa had been given. 6 points as not because they're playing better than last season.

I think this years Chelsea is much better - especially if you take last year's start and compare it.

No public physio rows, they've acquired some players the manager wants, won more games, Hazard is firing, Costa is scoring, they have Kante, potentially the best player in the league last season.

Yeah I think they're better.

And now it's 2-0.

It's only Burnley mind you, but there's no easy games in the Prem. Chelsea top of the league, they were closer to the bottom last season. Surely you see that as an improvement.

Chelsea hardly played well last season. Do you remember?

Just on the way home from the game now, will read back to see some of the comments later but I was personally very pleased with what I saw today.

We bossed the game from the 5th minute onwards and really should have come out with victory really. Our intensity was very good throughout and we definitely looked the more dangerous team throughout. Our defence was solid, apart from the goal we allowed them few chances.

It was a game we should have seen out though and it's dissapointing to concede late and not get the job done when we really should have won although I would have taken a point before the game. If we can replicate today's performance on a consistent basis we will win plenty of games however.

It was a good performance today but unfortunately the Burnley result means we are already badly lagging behind points wise. Looks like Chelsea, Utd and City are all going to bag wins to take them to 9 points, Arsenal winning too to go above us.

We realistically need 4 points out of 6 from Leicester and Chelsea minimum now which is a big ask.

Plenty of positives to take from today just frustrating not to come away with badly needed points.

Firmino and Matip were my stand out players by the way, thought the former was exceptional with his general link up play and pressing which filtered through the team.
