Can Town continue where they left off? I don’t mean by putting in great performances either. I mean, by totally outclassing the noisy neighbours down the M62. We all enjoyed the last encounter, where ‘Town came from behind to hammer Leeds Utd’, not my words.

Town now fear no team and they can match any of the ‘bigger’ teams, including Leeds Utd, if their deluded fans believe they are! Wagner is forming a great playing style and also creating an exciting atmosphere. He has them well organised and playing for each other. That team spirit is just getting stronger and stronger.

We won’t get all giddy and make outlandish statements. I’m sure you’d all agree that Town have made a superb start to the season. However, it is just the early stages of the season, many more minutes of hard work lay ahead for the lads. This includes on and off the field of play.

I think the squad will return from the international break stronger and fitter. Wagner will not let the players ease up and he’s probably given them extra training. I wonder if the players who have been involved in international duty will figure. Take Mooy for example, he flew to Australia, played in a World Cup qualifier match in Perth and in the UAE. He will fly back to England and resume his duties with Town. Will he be ready? He may be jet lagged. Should Wagner have him start the Leeds match or place him on the bench? There is plenty of strength and depth in the middle of the park for Town, I would personally bench Mooy, just in case.

Now that the shenanigans of the transfer window has ceased, Wells will be left alone to concentrate on his game. Kachunga has played very well and deserves to be kept in the team. Will Wagner play them together? Will he play one up front? Town need to get at Leeds from the off and I think this is going to be a humdinger of a match. I’ve got a great feeling about this one! It will be a hard match. I’m not going to predict a score, but a Town win. UTT!
