Definitely out are Madine, mavies, pratley, dervite, Clough, Clayton and possibly Derik and trotter. That's 8 out of a 24 man squad out so not enough to fill a bench today so a couple of academy players could be called up to make the numbers. Possible replacement for Madine and trotter are proctor, Chris Taylor who has not yet made the impact I was expecting as yet and sholas brother Sammy ameobi. Possible team. Howard. Buxton, wheater, beevers, moxey. Vela, Henry, spearing, c.taylor. proctor, Anderson.

Three draws now, when does the first defeat come. Apart from Bradford coming up soon we are playing mediocre sides for a few games. If we don't win them, you can forget any chance of promotion.
If we can't get one of the first team squad scoring we have a couple of youngsters who can find the back of the net. We need to promote at least one of them and give them a chance.

Think when ameobi is up to speed and starting games will make a difference. Looks rusty to me like he is lacking game time but caused a lot of problems for mk when he came on. Think Henry will do well when on the right wing. Not really in the game in the diamond system and his legs had gone when the tactical change came so another who needs to get match fit. Proctor worked hard in fact collapsed to the ground at the end. He's no goalscorer I'm afraid and not one to lead the line on his own. Best I've seen him is in a pair with Madine. Need Madine, Clough and Clayton back for different options as there just wasn't any yesterday and proctor had to play the full game when he needed to come off.

How long before Clough gets back in action? It will be interesting to see if he can stay out of trouble regarding injuries and at the same time creating and taking scoring chances.
We need someone to come good instantly because there are lots of points to be won over the next four or five games. Looking at the fixtures these coming games could cement our superiority in this league. We just need someone to put the ball into the back of the net.

I keep wondering what happened to that kid who burst on to the scene. Pace and skill to burn, low centre of gravity. Wonder if we will ever get that version of Clough back? Good scorer from a from a free kick. Reliable penalty taker too.
