Merely my opinion...
Green 6 - Not much to do. Worries me at corners.
Ayling 7 - Good defensive display. Quality clearance in first half.
Janssen 9 - Early days but looks our best defender since Kisnorbo pre injury
Bartley 8 - Been our most consistent player. Very solid.
Taylor 6 - Did nothing wrong but just doing the basics.
Viera 6 - Average. Battled well.
O'Kane 6 - Looks short of match practice but can see what he will offer.
Sakho 7 - Things happen with him on the ball. I like him a lot.
Hernandez 7 - Great on the ball. Needs more of it.
Dallas 5 - Anonymous. Would sell him.
Wood 7 - Battles away. Gets in the positions just can't finish. Good pen.
Overall a great result. Defence is improving. Need more control in the middle of the park. Hernandez plays in a key role and may prove to be our key player.
Janssen and Bartley are both loans who so far have proved they must be signed. The note of caution is that Bamba started really well too.
