Not been on much in the last week or so and to be honest I've not been at any of the last three games (part-time fan).
It was a strange old week - losing to Falkirk in the league and Morton in the cup, before winning against Morton at the weekend. From what I hear the same problems remain but it was interesting to see McKinnon change things around a bit, with Frank going into fullback and Toshney going into midfield.
I still think we could go two up top but our lack of strikers makes that tough. Good to see Andreu back on the scoresheet with a brace too.
Big game of course at the weekend with the live match vs Hibs on Sunday. Can't say I'm expecting much from the game but you never know. I think we'll need a significant improvement if we're going to come away with the points.
In other news, the DUFC women's team have had a solid first season in the women's third tier. They just need one more point to be champions and have a 100% record after 14 games. Oh, and they just have a goal difference of +119 after their 28-0 victory vs Edinburgh South. Well done ladies.

on the highlights, i think thats a slap in the face for hibs and united tbh.
its one of those things that makes scottish football look dependent on 2 teams.
the other was the vote to keep rangers in the top tier, that was embarrasing.

I've only watched Sportscene once this season tbh. It's a dreadful programme which should be much, much better. The game here really lacks any quality analysis.

I missed the first half hour of the match on Saturday because a rehearsal I was at ran on, although if the hour I saw was anything to go by I should really rephrase that to "I was late to Tannadice but didn't miss a thing". It was grim watching, Morton are pretty agricultural. I suppose the most important thing was a win, but still...
No cutting edge up front and we can't keep a clean sheet. Those things combined have been our undoing for a while and look set to continue. We'll probably go and beat Hibs three nil now...
On another note is good fun watching Dundee floundering. Hartley seems to be lashing out a bit in the press, which is always a laugh. Hopefully Celtic can horse them at Dens this weekend.
