City's defence

Absolutely shocking again. Could that cost them? Also will Pep get panned like Jose was after the derby?

it wasnt a derby and city were away, how are you comparing the 2

They're still top of table so probably not.

This league is unforgiving though. He won't stroll to any success in england like he's done in other leagues. This division is most competitive one in Europe.

Still my favs for the title but its a tough league and there's still a long way to go.

They looks shocking when you pressed them early. The amount of times the GK and defenders gave up possession in their own half was amazing. They were lucky spurs didnt take major advantage otherwise it could have been alot worse than 2-0.

Think the performance against united was overatted, yes they were good in the 1st half but 2nd half you lot were the better team with a defo pen a red denied for some daft reason.

Pep won't get panned, he's only been in the job a few months and its a building exercise for him. It's to be expected that a new manager with a completely new set of players won't be firing on all cylinders all the time. Managers like Guardiola and Klopp are afforded plenty of time to sort out any problems with their team, which is only right.

Why would he get panned? Did anyone expect them to go through the season unbeaten?
An away game against Spurs will be one the hardest games they will have all season.

he probably won't get panned because he's top of the league, had won 10 games in a row before this scoring goals for fun and playing great football and the loss came against one of the best teams in the league away from home, not against toilet sides like Stoke and Watford.

hope that answers your question

Get panned for what exactly?!?

My point was Jose was roundly criticised after the derby after a loss to a top side. Pep will get a pass because he's only in the job a few months? So is Jose.

We've had one result/performance which has caused me any real concern. That was Watford. There are of course issues but there are some real overreactions

The criticism after the derby was warranted
