LMGs in this game are designed to be more a suppresser than for taking guys out otherwise they would be massivley OP....you cant really bring a realism aspect into it tho cos, its to bring balance to a game thats why they are the way they are IMO. Personally I almost never lose a close range fight if im using a SMG. I also very rarely aim down the sights with the SMG as its far more accurate believe it or not (due to recoil). The LMGS's are the same in close combat i never aim down the sights (BAR Shock should be used for close combat situations and the Lewis Suppressed LMG for range and mounting the bipod). For the medic class us the automatic rifle if your running and gunning medic (I usually use for attacking) and the auto loading 8.25 rifle for holding areas down or defending.

I started as a medic, however so many people play that class it's kind of pointless as there is always one less than 20 metres away from you.

Playing assault at the moment as the anti tank rifle is useful when someone rocks up in a tank.

My favourite moment in combat so far was when I shot my anti tank gun at the zeppelin and managed to actually hit one of the guys on it and get a kill.

Yeah aim at the gondola looking things as they have the guys in it .... the anti tank gun fires armour peircing rounds so go thro them and hit the guys inside... you can also aim at the side guns in the tanks and they will kill the guy inside using that gun and also damage the tank. hint for the airship in the middle of the air ship on both the left and right side are the heavy firing weapons these two gondola things are what you should aim at first as they do massive damage to the ground targets. When attacking you really want as many medics as possible to be fair as you lose the game by tickets you lose and every revive saves a ticket, Ill get about 15/20 revives minimum a game so in theory if every memeber in your squad does that you can easily save your team 100 tickets which is a huge, huge difference (and on every class select anti tank grenades so you still have something to fight them with)

also another great tip for defeating the airship as quick as possible is to have squad mate fly a bomber above the airship and you parachute out on top of it. Make sure you are Assault class or support (support must have the ammo pouch NOT the crate) and have your other squad mates spawn on you, The assualy guys then blast the hell out it use anti tank grenades and dynamite whilst the support guy resupplies them however the ammo crate falls thro' the ship so use ammo pouches as these are thrown directly at your team mates. this is possiblly one of the quickest ways to destroy the airship

Only played Operations game mode still to date, how many other maps are there than the ones you use on their, on the other multiplayer modes like team deathmatch etc?

Mike I believe there are 9 with a 10th coming out soon.

Carrier pigeon or something
Some team death match

Sure I'm missing a couple.

I need to check them out then, I've only done Operations and not once thought about tying something different.

yup, Rush, Domination also .. Operations is the best by a country mile it seems tho. Rush seems to have taken a hit due to Operations it seems. Also due to operations you the other game modes seem really short !!

90% of my game time has been spent on Operations like most folk it seems

they will also be bringing in hardcore mode and custom servers.....

Well thing is Operations is rushes big brother basically. And tbh I only really play that or 64 player conquest.

TBH I dont think you need to play anything else though. Operations is sooooo fun! And I will be honest I havent played any other mode either
