yeah, and while Bournemouth play progressive passing football, they have never scored a goal anywhere near to the technical ability and teamwork shown in that clip.

Not saying they would (nor that they won't), but you'd be less surprised someone like them pulling it off than a Pulis team.

you mean the volley? that was just a moment individual brilliance.. not a slick team move

how many teams in the league are capable of scoring a team goal like that?

5 or 6 probably. no more.

Chronic, personally I found this recent clip pretty impressive.

Eibar running rings around Real Madrid's midfield.

Scroll down to the one titled "Midfield mastery".

Ftr, Eibar are considered amongst La Liga's grafters, but recently held Madrid to a draw at the Bernabeu. The clip's from that game.

You think 5 or 6 teams in the prem could score a goal like that ?????

I couldnt see a single team in the prem capable of doing that.

The amount of money in the PL is both a blessing and a curse, the latter because patience with footballers has almost totally gone out the window.

Apart from really having to sharpen up their scouting acts, clubs in Spain have little choice but to allow players the time to develop their games (or live off the loan system, which can work for a few seasons but is a perilous long-term path)

To give you and idea, Eibar's entire budget for this season is £38.3M. Not sure Las Palmas' this year, but last season it was £27M.
