If offered to you right now, would you take a point?

At the Emirates, we will be favourites and obviously we are playing some great stuff at the moment. Also with Xhaka, Santi, Theo to come back on the back of Giroud and Ramsey's returns, our squad is looking far stronger on paper than the one that played Boro to the extent that players who started that game may not even make the 18 man squad in the NLD.

Taking all the above into account, our fans will rightly be confident of us turning Spurs over next week putting a 6 point gap between us and them at a relatively early stage of the season.

Me, however, not so sure. Spurs have become some serious pests lately. I might be wrong, but I can't remember us beating Spurs in the PL under Poch and Wenger's record vs Poch in general isn't great. Spurs in general have become a resilient team, unbeaten this season, lowest goals conceded and only 1 goal conceded in open play this season. They are the only team to shut out City this season, and in this fixture last season they pressed us off the pitch. It also looks like Kane will be returning in time for this match and that cant always seems to score against us.

Personally, I would take a point vs them. For us it is important to beat the small teams and not lose to the big teams. Our loss vs Liverpool was disastrous and is the reason they are 2nd favourites with the bookies to win the title. A point vs Spurs would be a good result providing we beat lowly United the following week.
