...anybody else want to take over this week? I'm happy to do it, but maybe a change will be the butterfly that causes us to win.
We've asked all the questions, provided all the answers and yet the same results occur week in week out. I get the feeling that Monty isn't on Twitter...the answers just aren't getting through.
We lose our next game and if the latest takeover rumours are true, then Monty's P45 is in the post. Then what, Zola? Who knows? But I bet Fawaz is hoping its done before the fans realise their is no sell-on clause for Lascelles. His parting gift.
The new US owner (as suggested) will hopefully hit the ground running as this is already his third takeover attempt. Whether that's CEOs, DOFs, analysis, who knows, but I doubt he's buying to keep us in the Championship. Will he placate the fans by splashing the Burke, DDV, Lars, Paterson, Ward (and possibly) Lascelles money? That's some transfer kitty there, close to 20m, but whose going to want to come based on where we are in the league?
The first thing will be of course, staying up. If PM had the injured / sold / suspended players available would we be where we are? No, we'd be top six. That's not fantasy land either. Losing Burke destroyed our balance and pretty much everything else with it. The other losses merely cemented where we are.
Without Carayol or Pereira, we're left with Dumitru or Lica. Without Vaughan we're left with Kasami. Without Bendtner & Britt we have Vellios and Osborn up with him (who sounded pretty good). Other than more youth (which PM is doing great with bringing through) we have little to prop us up.
The players will feel it as well, they'll look around and know, that line-up isn't going to get us three points, its not even going to get a draw.
The highlights (lol) show the first goal is down to Kasami, trotting around and getting confused when him and Vellios went for the same ball. He then watched the goal. The ball swerved a lot, but Stojkovic should have been better and it went straight to McLeary.
The second, Kasami strolling around again, out to where Fox is, unsurprisingly beaten by McCleary, a Cohen slip and it bounces straight to Gunter.
We had one chance after that, the ball being shot aimlessly wide by Dumitru when Britt was waiting to slot it in. We had great chances in the first half as well, but Kasami cannot really pass, tackle or shoot. In fact, he looks scared when in possession. No idea where that debut calm has gone.
I look at the squad and can only think of so many players that will give their all...Stojkovic, Lichaj, Perquis, Pinillos, Cohen, Vaughan, Cash, Osborn, Pereira, Britt and Vellios. Problem is those players aren't all available and as such we have huge gaps in defence and midfield. A few players will hopefully come good once back...Bendtner and Carayol look decent enough and Lansbury can be good, when he wants to.
At least Pereira is back this Saturday, maybe Vaughan? That gives us a chance at least. Britt, Pinillos and Bendtner after the International break. It should all combine to make us more solid, better balanced and creative. Plus, the players to finish.
We're more than capable of beating QPR, same as we are with most of the teams we've lost to. Certain players clearly aren't up to it, so I hope he drops them. Dumitru, Fox and Kasami and Lam for starters.
Rather than listening to the whole game i'm just going to look at the squad when announced on Forest Player. If certain players don't feature then it's game over and it's definitely not worth staying up to 4am to listen to.

Vellios was the one steaming in ready to pounce on Kasami's knockdown until Kasami barged him out of the way and weakly prodded the ball at the Reading keeper!

Kasami definitely looks like one who doesn't fancy it and is badly going through the motions. I can see players being disgruntled but can't believe they'd deliberat lose games as it would weaken their own positions too. Would be like turkeys voting for Christmas.

Kasami is a season long loan, I would get rid now and stop paying his wages.

Rumours that he is a disruptive influence in the dressing room too. Probably giving it the big one because he is ex Prem. He is this season's Ebicilio. Can't recall a Forest midfielder who makes so many unforced mistakes. He isn't doing himself any favours and clubs should be able to get tough on players who take the P when out on loan.

At least he's disruptive somewhere Will!
Phillipe...call Claudio and ask him about the Tinkerman!!

Here's hoping that the takeover is resolved in the next three weeks, as suggested by Mr Percy. I'm sure it'll be the good kick up the rs they all need.

F A F, Darren Bent's solicitors will be contacting you in a few days and ask you to withdraw that comment or face an expensive action for libel.

Takeover within seven days possibly says a number of sources. I won't believe it till I see it personally but could this be a way out of the carnage?

Hopefully the news that the takeover seems imminent may galvanise the players?

You never know, especially if some are fed up with the owner. It'd be funny to have an immediate improvement in form.
To be honest, there has been several periods over the last four years where players have seemed to not be playing for the team.
