England 3 v 0 Scotland

There have been some very harsh words used by a few outlets following the game on Friday night. The likes of shameful, embarrassing & disgusting. Now, if those words were simply aimed at Grant Hanley and Christophe Berra then they would be spot on but they weren't. They were used to describe the whole performance which is way over the top.

Now, losing 3-0 to your old rival rival is never a good thing and when it ultimately confirms you won't be at the next World Cup it's even harder to take.

The damage was done long before Friday night, it was done when we allowed Gordon Strachan to pick the same group of players who have failed to get us to a major championship at the last 4 attempts. Guys like Darren Fletcher, Steven Fletcher, Gordon Greer, Grant Hanley and Chris Martin still heavily involved. This was only going to end in disaster again and so it has proved.

In terms of the game itself I thought we started well and pressed England well as a team. The problem with this team is they always dip as a team and when they do we regularly concede and that's exactly what we did. There is a bit of misfortune with the first in the fact Hanley gets smacked in the midriff with the ball and it seems to wind him and he's unable to get up in time to get back in and mark Sturridge.

We missed two glorious opportunities first half, Griffiths shot when he had the chance to slip Snodgrass in highlighted the difference in him and Dembele at Celtic and why he's rightly on the bench these days, that extra bit of quality and team work is what sepereates the good players from the best players.

I don't want to say much on Hanley's chance other than he should be jailed

Second half, again I thought we started well and the impressive Wallace and Forrest were working well together and created two terrific chances for us. The first was Wallace with a decent ball in which was cleverly left by Griffiths and Forrest did everything right by bringing it back inside but he snatched at it and that's the difference at this level and something Forrest needs to improve on.

The best chance of the lot came down the left again with some neat interchanges and resulting in Wallace cutting it back for Snodgrass who again failed to make the keeper work and scuffed a glorious chance to get us back into the game.

After that it was comical defending for the rest of the game and England ran out comfortable winners.

This is the end of the road for Strachan but it's not just his fault, there are guys in blazers who care not a jot about innovation or progression and we need to get them out now. There are also more than a handful of players who just aren't international quality and should never get another cap.

It's time for change, real change and the time has to be now before we go another two decades without watching Scotland at a major tournament.

Really?

You've read the posts re his team selection then?

No. guess not.

Anyway.

I'm back at that part of north London our family owns after a reasonable meal at Nobu followed by a nightcap at the Mayfair bar across the road.

Just know that a bit of Scotland owns a bit of your city and other areas of your country.

I get regular mails from future property auctions on their up and coming auctions and this was on it

I have no idea on value of a parking space but they will be selling below market value. 10k is a guide price and can go for more or less

I have used them a few times now and they are reliable

Cheers might have a look. Good thing with that is there can't be any debt attached to it unlike a lot of the houses they move on

Curly - had a look at it - potential returns look really high but apparently it would be people who live there that would rent it. Major shortage of private places... still though 350 a month for a parking space?

Would think it'd be for day to day users as opposed to tenants unless you decided to lease off individual spaces to them.

£30 a day is high for that.

It's only one space ginger

In fairness there's another one nearby with double the guide price
Less risk with these than property as it's harder to have debt attached but possibly harder to lease

Not thier fault with regards to debt on houses.

Basically if it's repossessed and they haven't paid factors fees or if there's a large bill due for repairs etc then you inherit them.

Auction houses are unaware of this, lawyers can check (not in last 30 days, but back 12 months from then) obviously the potential of this happening is lessened if it's a parking space rather than a residential premises.
