Just watched it on the iplayer on the back of this thread and it was $hite, is it an actual comedy as there was one laugh in it and switched off after 20 minutes

There's no laugh out loud belly laughs I'll grant you, but that's not the point. As a comical observation on certain types of people, it's masterful. Makes me laugh, wince and cringe in near equal measure. Now that is the point of it, it makes you think and ask yourself some questions. Is there any of me in that character?

The genius is that there is a bit of all of us in every character.
