Green - 6 - nowt to do really, but nearly messed it all up by miss judging a ball into the box
Ayling - 9 - Top quality defensive performance and his best game going forward. Excellent signing
Bartley - 6 - kept things tight, but looked off it a bit today with his heading
Janssen - 6 worst game for us, got out done by Gesdede. Made some good track backs though.
Taylor - 9 - best game of the season for us, excellent forwards and back. Looks like the player who came on scene a few years ago.
Philips - 5 - sorry but poor game for the lad, apart from a few good passes and tackles, lost the mid for us a bit and a bit anoyamus at times.
Viera - 6 Made some good tackles, tried very hard but lacked a grip like Phillips.
Roofe - 6 - Apart form the goal, completely domiatied by Jedinajk and looked a bit light weight. Effort was excellent.
Sacko - 9 - always a threat, excellent tracking back as well.
Doukra - 6 - tried hard, not too much came off for him
Wood - 7- not much to get onto, when he did, no support. Got his goal of course.
Overall. Very very tight game in the first half, edged it second and what a fooking atmosphere.

Maybe a 9 was high Sacko, he takes a hell of a lot of pressure off the defence when he plays, I thought he was key in that aspect today and got an assist too.

Can you really class, not passing, shooting ( and it was a poor) and the keeping making a real hash as an assist.
technically yes but why stats in football mean rock all

The lad is frustrating, but has time to improve. Take him out the side what do think will happen?
We have no athleticism going forward. Name another player in the team who could have done what he did at the end yesterday?
Truth is, right here and now he is contributing to where we are in the league. He skinned th elegy back a couple of times yesterday as it goes.

You are right there Mike, he is crucial to our team and causes all sorts of problems.
He is very frustrating though, because he could be so much better.

A lot wingers blow hot and cold, but what I like about him is he battles for every ball and is always a danger for 90 mins

Worst player atm. Was probably our best a couple of months ago. Still got the energy and desire to go on a surging run into a defence after 94 minutes, deserved a goal yesterday

Just home after a good 800mile round trip, Thoroughly enjoyed the game despite a few squeaky bum moments, agree with the ratings would have loved that 2nd goal to have been Sacko's first for us but never mind, they all count.
Like the way Jannsen interacts with the Fans, he certainly seems to appreciate them
Anyway, Great to get down for a game, Thanks to VOF for the lift, Nice to meet up with Harj again and Mr & Mrs Lancashirewhite
Also all the other lads who I didn't know but still got the craic with including the lad at the turnstyle who was slightly sozzled and asked me if we were going to win, (I told him 2-0 )

Sacko scored against Birmingham at home, through the keepers legs when he probably should have squared it.
