Did Anyone Else See..

Walker giving Kane an absolute b0ll0cking during the game on Sunday? It was at 2-1 and during a 5-10 minute spell where Burnley were putting pressure on us. Whenever we cleared it their defence were picking it back up and I think Walker was basically shouting at him to battle harder for the ball.

Kane was having a go back but my point is it was good to see, especially from somebody who isn't even Vice Captain. Comments have been made in recent years about the players being too soft with each other and I don't think this is the case anymore.

I don't think Kane's been that bad in all honestly. I can't remember to many clear chances he's had where you've thought he's missed a sitter there.

If there's one thing you can't fault with Kane it's with his commitment. Might have had a couple of quiet games recently where other players have stept up to the mark but I'm far from questioning him atm.

Kane needs to learn when to shoot and when to slide a team mate in for a much better chance.

I agree to an extent. Can't knock him for pulling the trigger with his record and the type of goals he has been scoring during the last couple of seasons. He was top of the goal scoring charts for a reason.

well you can knock him if hes taking on a ridiculous shot from 30 yards instead of sliding in a team mate for a one on one... that's just bad decision making, I don't care if he scores 100 goals in a season, if hes 30 yards out on his wrong foot, I would much rather he slide eriksen in for a 1 on 1, than try and score number 101

If it was happening all the time I'd be just as worked up as you.

im not worked up..... we are winning games.... but his decision making I would say is generally poor, and has been for quite some time.

if he wants to move up a level as a striker, he needs to learn when the shot is his to take, and when he needs to lay on an easy goal to a team mate....

quite simply, we will score more that way, so we will win more, so he will play for a better team and at a higher level...

anyway, hes a kid... it will come with time

For whatever reason people miss what Kane brings to the side.

He might not have the ball but he makes us play. His movement, his positioning. When Jansen plays there the team do not have the tactical movement, they struggle too when the winger son plays there.

As for decision making I don't think it is bad at all all top forwards have a bit of greed in them that makes them take a shot instead of a lay off. Kane's a top top forward too.

If he was foreign he would be spoke about in the same breath as aguero in this league.

Suarez is the example of this. Forget the fact that he's playing with Messi, Neymar etc. In his last 2 seasons at Liverpool he scored approx 55 league goals (no penalties) and weighed in with plenty of assists.

Kane is good at overloading whatever fullback side that seems to be one of our few attacking tactics.
