The final game of the Christmas fixtures from which, so far, we have 4 points from 6. Not a bad return but let's hope that after tomorrow's game we have 7 from 9.

Like us they drew yesterday and, despite the massive gap between us in the table, this game will not be easy, it's only a few weeks since they beat us at ours, and in front of the Sky cameras 😡

We need to put the disappointment of yesterday behind us and turn up for this game full of belief and optimism, team and fans alike. I know that sort of contradicts what I said about it not being easy but without belief we might just as well stay at home. That's quite philosophical for New Year's Day

I think we missed Hogg badly yesterday, there was no one to do Mooy's running for him, and he had a quiet game by his standards. In my opinion Mooy is central to the way we play and if he has an off day then the rest of the team appear to do so as well.

I like Whitehead and he tried to fill the gap caused by Hogg's absence but he just seemed to slow the game down as he doesn't have Hogg's fitness. But then again who does? Would it be worth starting Billing in that position? I don't know.

I know some people still think we need a dominant central defender but I think Schindler and Hefele are forming a good partnership and doing ok. My concern, like lots of others, is our lack of goals. The amount of good crosses that are missed is unbelievable, no-one ever seems to get on the end of them. Am I being too harsh? After all we're fourth in the table and playing good football but will this lack of goals cost us?

There's all sorts of rumours over who we will sign in the transfer window, Danny Ward coming back from Rotherham being one of them, don't know if this would be a good thing or not, and someone called Terence (?) Boyd from a team in Germany, can't think who at the moment, think my memory's going

I believe we've nearly sold all our tickets for tomorrow and there's pay on the day as well, so should be a good turnout from us. I'm going, making most of my last day before I'm back at work 😢

My prediction for tomorrow is that it will be hard fought, Town fans will be nervous wrecks, but we'll emerge 2-1 winners at the end. Fingers crossed.
