It was the Z-cars theme - the one they use at Everton. Anyone know why ? For younger fans Z-cars was a TV cop show in the early sixties set in LIverpool so .logical that Everton might use it, just surprised that Watford did. Thought it would be simething by Elton John like "don't let my son go down on me"

Watford adopted it 12 months after Everton did in the 60s. Think Everton did it initially out of respect of one the cast who passed away, Watford did it as they liked the tune but went on a fantastic unbeaten run and so kept it out of luck and since then it's stuck.
