😈Wolves v Villa😈{live}

Wolves boss Paul Lambert faces his old club Aston Villa for the first time since leaving in February 2015 on a day when the memory of Graham Taylor, who managed both clubs, will be honoured.

Lambert has striker Ivan Cavaleiro in contention to return after missing last Saturday's 2-0 FA Cup third round win at Stoke with a knee injury.

Villa are without African Nations Cup duo Jordan Ayew and Jonathan Kodjia.

Boss Steve Bruce may give a league debut to on-loan keeper Sam Johnstone.

After arriving from Manchester United, he played in the 2-0 FA Cup third-round defeat at Tottenham and looks likely to again edge out Mark Bunn, while Pierluigi Gollini has been allowed out on loan to Serie A side Atalanta.

Villa central defender Nathan Baker is fit after shrugging off the back injury he struggled with at White Hart Lane last Sunday.

The death of former Lincoln City, Watford, Villa, Wolves and England manager Taylor will be marked by a minute's applause prior to kick-off and a floral tribute, led by three of his former Villa players, Tony Daley, who he later signed for Wolves, and former Wales internationals Rob Edwards and Mark Delaney.

Daley and Edwards are part of Wolves' current backroom team, while Delaney is now Villa's under-23 coach.

Graham Taylor was twice Villa manager, from May 1987 to July 1990, then again from February 2002 to May 2003, either side of his 18 months at Molineux, from March 1994 to November 1995

perhaps city want a few new defenders?

71% possession and lost 4-0 to everton. everton had four shots on target all game. our strikers could learn a lesson there on being clinical!

Pep has changed nothing, they look a proper mess.

71 % indeed.

To have 29% and win 4-0 is what I have been saying all along on this great forum of ours.

As for Pep, called him out before he even went to City. He is a flat track bully who enjoyed the luxury of Barcelona and Bayern Munich with only two sides ever to be worried about.

The Premiership is a different beast and he has not the skills as a manager to tame it.

Ok, so the general consensus is that we stick with Dicko who has 0 (zero) goals from the last 20 games or so

I think there will be quite a few changes at Man City by the end of the summer, but changing the manager won't be one of them

Let's be honest the list is endless and we generally chase out the better ones with a 'good riddance'.
