How does everyone think this will go?

Option 1:
Fawaz accepts the deal. He realises is isn't that bad of a deal for a club that is sharply devaluating and he makes money back on the 20%.

Option 2:
Fawaz gets the deal he wants. Some lobotomised billionaire somewhere buys us for 50 million and fawaz keeps his 20%.

Option 3:
Fawaz patiently waits, sells players to maintain upkeep. Nobody is interested so he sells the club at a later date for a lower fee.

Option 4:
Asset stripping. Fawaz realises that no one will pay the money he wants for the club, but sum of individual assets are worth more than the whole club. Sells player that can fetch a price worth the effort, and sells the club for a £1 once he's sold the two paddles.

Option 5:
Fawaz invests

These are probably the 5 likely scenarios but how do you guys think it will go?

FM, I said all along this was all a ploy by Bruce, our options will be sell to Derby for 2,5-3m or Villa for about 2m, failing that he walks for nothing, some club captain, but unfortunately money talks. Lansbury holds all the aces, yet again FAH drops one, and the club suffers, Lansbury would have happily signed up until the beginning of December.

Happily 'signed, up until the beginning of December'

He is in a mess now.

Just call JJ try and reach and compromise and be done with it Fawaz otherwise you will lose a lot more money.

Probably best not to view the JJM consortium through rose coloured glasses.

Why didn't Lansbury sign his new contract when supposedly both the club and Lansbury were happy with the deal? Because of the takeover. So that stupid dumbwit fathead devalues the very asset he's trying to sell!

Bruce is playing a game and how the hell is Dexter Blackstock, not a agent involved? Is this just another example of f'kwits stupidity? Villa don't want him, certainly not for a total package cost approaching £10M and Hughes has signed another contract at the Flatpack.

We have no takeover and no manager and the most effective central midfield player playing golf and not even travelling to the game!

How is it possible to make such a complete mess of just about everything?

Only a moron could come any where close to such a total mess.

Velly has said he isn't leaving so must have had a argument with P.M.

At this rate the Reds will be playing Forest Green Rovers, at the New Lawn up the hill in Nailsworth, in a few years time.

His wet nurse must have dropped him on his head while he was a baby. Like a shrimp swimming in a tankful of sharks.

I'm not sure about that to be honest, we've been talking about a new contract since the summer. He then gets injured in the warm up at Derby, who then make a bid for him later. Clubs would have been offering a much more lucrative package, and they're not on their knees threatened with relegation.

Villa now are targeting Adlene G apparently for a similar fee, and Fawaz has a 4m bill to JJM, a pay off to PM and January's wage bill coming up. After no decisions had been made about Lans during the protracted takeover, interest appears to be either waning or parties are aware that Fawaz seems needs to get some money in. Don't forget Bruce had Fawaz's pants down when at Hull with the recall of Hobbs.

Patrick Bamford to be sold by Chelsea for £10 million. We don't have a sell on clause do we? Also, thanks Chelsea for taking one of our best prospects, never playing him then getting rid without even trying him out in your first team.

He wasn't a Fawaz sale, I wouldn't surprise if we had you know. It'd just either go towards late bills or towards reducing his "invested" funds anyway.

True.

Villa are not daft. They know Fawaz is desperate and they know he doesn't want to sell to Derby. So they are allowing it to be mentioned that they are looking at Guedioura, or Hourihane, or others as alternatives. The price for Lansbury is coming down by the day. Between them Lansbury and Villa have Fawaz over a barrel. Will he crack and sell to Derby or wait until the eleventh hour and take whatever crumbs Villa offer? Lansbury can threaten to sit out his contract and Villa can threaten to get somebody else or just wait until the summer. I don't want Lansbury for Derby despite his ability but it would be the most sensible thing for Fawaz to do, therefore he won't.

As I mentioned earlier, Bruce had Fawaz's pants down relating to Hobbs. Under normal running you guys could have offer a couple of million more and he'd turn it down. Have to wonder if he'd be tempted as things have moved on a bit, and could well end up saying players to try and recoup some cash or cover day to day running.

Apparently Norwich have now expressed an interest but we still haven't got back to Villa of their last bid
