I agree completely with Scouse Heart. I would only add that he has been our best player this season overall, not just in that one match.

A few of our fans don't like him...but they won't comment on this thread - they will wait until Zlatan has a bad game then then they will become vocal.

I'm not trying to defend anyone. Just offering some perspective/middle ground. I don't think any United fans dislike Zlatan. How can you? Fantastic player, great character and works so hard for the team.

Oh, that's right, that washed up old sea hag is leading the league in goals scored, imagine that? I'll be honest, I expected a good season, we're getting a very good season, and I reckon next year will e an excellent season, he's a rare breed.

Why would I need to speak to every united fan? You were talking about United fans not posting on this thread but instead waiting until he has a bad game before posting. Clearly you were talking about fans on these forums, not every unites fan. I haven't seen any United fans on these boards show a personal dislike for Zlatan. Some, myself included, worry that his presence in the squad might stunt the progress of our young strikers. However, that isn't a dislike for Zlatan and you can't argue with his performances. Overall he has been fantastic.
