Leicester bigger than Spurs?

A recent study was published ranking the Top 20 most visited club websites in football.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-4110822/Manchester-United-visited-football-website-world-Arsenal-Liverpool-close-behind.html

Most visited club websites - monthly visitors

1) United - 8.6m
2) Arsenal - 8.5m
3) Liverpool - 7.7m
4) Real Madrid - 7.2m
5) Barcelona - 6.3m
6) Fenerbache - 3.3m
7) Chelsea - 3.2m
8) Dynamo Kiev - 3.1m
9) Bayern - 2.9m
10) Dortmund - 2.7m

Selected others:
13) Leicester - 1.9m
14) Spurs - 1.8m
17) Man City - 1.7m

As we can see, United and Arsenal lead the field by a big margin in the table. Not too surprising given United are the most popular team in sports and Arsenal are one of the biggest, and particularly big online.

Interesting that the Top 3 are all PL clubs. I would have thought Real & Barca would be ahead of Liverpool though.

Surprising that Chelsea aren't higher, and it's interesting that the Leicester story has managed to catapult them above Spurs & City.

Is this a fair ranking of the biggest clubs?

"With Leicester having already qualified for the round of 16 in this year's UEFA Champions League competition, we can expect to see them maintain their position in the top 20 and potentially climb a few places."

Overall, the 20 highest-earning football clubs in the world generated £5.5bn of revenue in 2015/16, which is an increase of 12 per cent on the previous year.

I think this shows how considerably bigger Manchester United is to Arsenal and all other PL clubs.

LiquidGenius, in terms of whose club is bigger than whose, I don't think it is fair to mention Arsenal in the same sentence as Manchester United. It's a little bit embarrassing

Arsenal have the highest gate in sports.

I mean, you guys have to sell tickets at two-thirds of the price and do 'Buy 3, get 1 free' offers and stuff, just to draw £2.5m per game. We easily draw £3m+.

Yeah, same old teams. Pats will piiiss it. I've been watching the games condensed on gamepass because the outcomes have been fairly obvious. The puussy officiating is really putting me off too. It's a shame..

If Green Bay make to the SuperBowl, I'm confident they'll win it.

Aaron Rodgers is the most talented QB ever.

He's a better QB than Ozil?!

Just shows how football is globalised, and more specifically that there is a lot of glory hunting going on from abroad.

Would have been a better wum attempt had you not included the reason as for why Leicester would ever get more website visits than Spurs. Yes "the Leicester story" that will have seen a surge in people visiting their website to see who this team are that have done so well all of a sudden.

It's embarassing that you seem to take so much pride from some financial figures
