Just seen a short story on sky the other night about it. I've seen the game countless times but hadn't seen this programme.
Gerrard said his header was the most important goal he'd ever scoored - it actually showed this from an angle i'd never seen before and it was phenonminal
Alonso spoke and said it was the first ever penalty he'd ever taken as a professional footballer. 3-0 down then 3-2 and to bring the biggest game level as your first ever penalty takes some bottle. he went on to say that Gerrard was the pen taker but Rafa always changed it if the player had missed the one before and Alonso said Gerrard missed one a week or two before against Spurs and that Kewell would of taken it if he'd still been on the pitch
There were a good few bits that were both really interesting and surprising
does anyone know anymore that aren't well know - apologies if the above ic common knowledge

the dive for the penalty his most important dive of his career too

He was fouled. In case you haven't noticed referees are reluctant to give penalties unless you go down.

I watched that game with 3 Man Utd fans and my Mrs at the time.
At half time my mates were howling with laughter. At full time they were applauding us and feeling sick
I blew my TV up celebrating. The Mrs went nuts at me but I was oblivious to anything that night. One of the best nights of my life
