On the subject of the transfer window. I really wish Pulis would keep his trap shut about what he wants to achieve. It makes it very hard for him to justify signing a player like Marc Wilson when he's stated that he's only going to target "quality" players.

I can handle us not signing any big name players but not when our hopes have been heightened with big promises!

Agree was a decent point although we came close to getting 3.
I doubt there is a manager in the game who does not want as many decent players as possible so I can't blame Pulis for that.
However he has done well with what transfers have come in, Nyom and Phillips especially.
Wilson is a very decent player and we have tried to sign him in the past. I see no reason why he won't make a contribution in the time we have him.

I see Wilson coming in as purely defensive cover. Can play right across the back 4.
