Skybet Championship:
Venue: John Smiths Stadium
Date: 02/02/2017
Kick off: 7.45pm
On Sky that’s why its Thursday !… ( praying for different results that Wigan & Wednesday )
Town head into a massive double bill of home games in decent form.
Form Guide: ( latest last)
Town : WWDWLW
Brighton : WWWLWW
Not a mention of Man City… these next 4 days are far more important…
Big test this, Brighton have been the most consistent team of the season, they rarely get it wrong & will be a stubborn opponent, however we are great at home, & seem to have added goal threat with both Brown & big Col…..
Retro night, old shirts scarves… flags on seats…£10 all areas, will be a big crowd, I’ve heard people saying that the crowd will be down as its midweek,………. Never hear that for a Tuesday game ?
We have recent poor record against Brighton, they are undefeated in 9 against us, their last loss was the last game at that dreadful Withdean Stadium in 2011… ( just before the Old Trafford play off )
I think we’ll win this one, They lost at Preston & of course Lincoln… we are flying …
Then on to Sunday…. Where we’ll win again…
.
Nice, short & sweet… the comments make a thread anyhow… who will admit that they don’t read all of it anyway !!
Last time in Hudders…. 18/08/15…a 1-1 draw…
Prediction with a gate of 21,095…. 2-1 Town…
UTT….
Huddersfield Town 3 Brighton 1

One thing from that Brighton thread, and it's something I have thought for a while, is the lad who described Leeds' defence as "painfully slow" (he likened it to ours). This is why I think we can hurt Leeds. If we play our natural game on Sunday, I don't see how Leeds will be able to cope with our movement. There isn't a single team in this division who play the way we do and, as long as we get into them from the off like we did last night, I don't think Leeds' defenders will know what's hit them.
To balance this though, Leeds are also very good at breaking with pace. Bridcutt is very able to play the kind of ball to one of their quicker players that puts you straight on the back foot and we will need to be alert to that. Set pieces aren't worth talking about...we know the problem that can bring.
I'm always confident we will get the result at home though, some of our play at the JSS has been breathtaking this season, and on a very regular basis.
Can't wait for this now ✊🏼

Over the past ten games, have a guess who tops the form table....it isn't Leeds (though you are second). Past 6 games we are joint top with Leeds edging GD.
Both teams could hardly be better prepared for this one.
