Steve Hitchen

Anyone know anything about our new director in charge of overhauling our scouting network...or lack of it? Start in the summer apparently.

It seems we have signed highly rated Troy Parrott from Belvedere in a Ireland.
The 15 year old striker who Chelsea were very keen on joins us in the summer.

Let's hope he makes he grade at Spurs.

Oh like I've been saying about all this for the past 3 months about this? Ok mate.

Starts July 1st. same day the Fazio and bentaleb deals are announced.

We currently have nobody covering any deals which is why we would not sign anyone. We are back to our usual ways of having just a few scouts.

Mitchell resigned before being pushed apparently . Not well liked at the club, refused to look at the youth team how can you scout for players if you do not know what's in the youth team? was found out for the old black box trick he was credited with the gimmick every club had one anyway!

Broomfield left naturally he was working as an advisor not chief or head scout at the time just an advisor. Was responsible for the sissoko signing.

We are still going to appoint a technical director or whatever the title will be above Hitchen. Big name.

Currently pleat still pulling a few strings behind the scenes. Appointed a youth scout and two youth coaches.

Hitchen is a traditional scout not the silly ones with iPads and spreadsheets. Well like at the club if I rem correctly he left because of Harry bringing in Broomfield for the first time with a slight restructure.

We have had some top top scouts at this club it sickens me to think about it.

Your comment the other day....

"You wanna talk formations, tactics, trends. Everyone melts over pep theyve not seen a jorge sampaoli side unbelieveable ideas on the football pitch,. Easily gonna be the best coach for years. (the 5-3-1-1 come from him and argaubly the false 9 did aswell using sanchez) doesnt get the credit in these shores because his name is not fancy enough yet."

A quick Google search and some basic cross-referencing will show that Sampaoli and Sanchez's paths didn't cross until 2012 when Sampaoli managed him with Chile, yet you claim that "arguably the false 9 did as well using Sanchez".... which is clearly Grade A nonsense.

I clearly remember Messi being played in that role for the first time in that role in May 2009 vs Real Madrid after about 15 mins or so. Go and google it and you'll see the story of how Pep came up with the idea. He then proceeded to play half of 2009/10 there and all of 2010/11 there, so how on earth have you dreamt up that Sampaoli pioneered it in 2012?

You may know a lot of ITK stuff but then you try and exaggerate your knowledge with fictitious bollox as evidenced above.
