This is Gary Brazil's first game as official Interim Manager as the Red's head across to a very cold Carrow Rd for tomorrows 3pm kick off against Norwich City.
Both clubs have discovered how to win games again after a long run of poor form. Although Norwich's run hasn't seen them in the same situation as Forest, the future of Alex Neil has been questioned. A top six finish being the minimum requirement.
Last season's Forest loanee Nelson Oliveira has settled in well and is scoring on a regular basis. Bagging the opening goal in Norwich's 2-2 draw away to Wigan on Tuesday. Incidentally both Wigan's goals were scored by Omar Boggle in the space of six second half minutes.
Norwich are carrying a number of injured players. The most notable being Graham Dorrans [knee]. Alex Tettey their midfield playmaker will serve the last game of his two game ban for collecting ten yellows.
Youssouf Mulumbu is expected to deputise.
Forest will be full of confidence after a brilliant performance against Aston Villa last weekend. I expect Forest to name a unchanged first eleven unless Hobbs is deemed fit to start. Forest will want to start well tomorrow and keep the crowd quite and nick a early goal if the chance presents itself.

He wanted to in the Summer if you remember, before he got the Cardiff job, there was an interview where he basically said he was gutted not to get the Forest job. FAWAZ!!!

Well, at least the rugby saved the sporting day.

Goal 1: Wonder goal.
Goal 2: Not tracked by Fox. Possibly offside. Henderson hesitates coming off his line.
Goal 3: Weak header by Fox. Henderson off his line. Cracking finish.
Goal 4: Lose possession. Fox backs off along with the whole defence. Great finish past young Smith.
Lichaj sending off: Didn't see the first yellow. Looked like a dive to me.
Forest Goal: Nice assist by Clough and subsequent finish by McCormack.
Goal 5: Great finish by them.
Issues without watching the game, or listening to the game and only seeing biased highlights:
Goalkeeper:
Henderson has had a few great games, over the hapless Stojkovic. Still nowhere near DDVs level. Harsh to judge Smith on that performance, but we will need Stojkovic out and a number 1.
Defence: namely Fox and Hobbs is not good enough. Worrall is our best defender, followed by Hobbs (when fit), Mancienne, Perquis, Mills (even when injured), Iacovitti as very young, then Fox.
I don't care if he has 5 great games. Fox is still rubbish and will cost us more points than he helps us to earn. Hobbs, is great when fit, but very susceptible to pace. Should have kept with the same back line. Next game, bring in Worrall and return Mancienne.
Midfield: Vaughan is great when we are playing a poor team without pace. He is very susceptible to pace, he slows our team down to much against (from the highlights alone) was clearly a dynamic pacy attacking midfield that seemed to break everything down very quickly and had more aggression.
Forwards: I guess Britt was isolated. McCormack finished well and great assist by Clough.
Manager: Got it wrong for me. But, he's never managed against a Premiership side away from home. He'll learn a lot from that.
Referee: Didn't see anything except the second yellow unsurprisingly. Sounds like he was awful. They really seem to have some favourites at the FA, usually against us.
Bring on Tuesday for 3 points. Its the Forest way.
Have a great weekend lads. Just got back yesterday and I have dropped about a stone and i'm the colour of a Brazilian street kid. Maybe I should ask for a game? Think of a teabag coloured Pringles man. Off to buy some fruit and take the bike for a spin in the 40 degree heat....if the battery isn't flat that is.

Btw...after tearing around the Filipino countryside on a 175cc dirt bike with no helmet....riding an 800 in this heat as everyone tries to cool down by moving en masse (to the beach) whilst traffic is gridlocked with the nanny state ticket (police) officers out in full, definitely won't compare.
I'd rather be in England....and thats saying something.

What makes it worse is that City conceded an equaliser, useless lot.

To be fair to Derby, we may well thank them for that at the end of the season.
