A good week for me thanks to a flukey 2-1 Sevilla prediction (although I very nearly changed it to 5-0 just before kick-off). At the top of the table, congratulations go to Nuneaton whose relentless march has finally seen him overtake the lone groover. At the opposite end, Stroud is having a mare of a season and looks in need of a drastic change in fortune to avoid finishing last.

First things first. A huge thank you to King Claudio for all he has done for this club. When I run through all the managers who have held the reins since I first started watching in 1961, he stands head and shoulders above the rest, not just in terms of what he achieved, but for the way in which he has conducted himself; a true gentleman of the game. I am sorry to see him go but also realise why the owners felt they had no alternative.
