Valencia, Smalling and Ibra played well. The rest were between average and terrible.

A bit of luck, concentration, belief and Zlatan got us through that.

I thought Herrera had a good game - not his best, but he made a number of tackles, got an assist and looked one of the few players able and willing to match Southampton's intensity.

Worked hard and covered a lot of ground. He was better second half, and delivered a fantastic cross for Ibra's second, but he gave the ball away a lot.

Not the worst cup final I've seen United play,I remember the United vs Liverpool Fa Cup game still far too well.
But,overall,the performances were poor.Minor Zlatan we would be here clapping Soton on a deserved cup win.

Credit to the Southampton manager and their players.

I think it was more to do with how fresh Saints were

They played well but as the game went on we changed a few things around and didn't look in huge danger of losing

Saints should be proud but Jose is a winner and we deserved the win. I know people will talk about the offside goal but I wonder how many people will mention that Romeu should have been sent off.

They were so much fresher than us it was unbelieveable!

Even at 2 nil- i was not confident.

The fact that we got that result playing that poorly says volumes about how we've progressed under Jose. With LVG of Moyes, Southampton wins that match by 2 goals. The players knew they were being outclassed, but never gave up, that's something to take out of this clusterf*ck of a match.
