Of course it affected me. It's a sad indictment of our education system when grown adults - assuming you are one - don't even know what relatively simple words mean.

I have no animus towards Tottenham. Granted, their hackfest towards our team last season when it went to 2-2 was pathetic, but lots of clubs (including ours) have lost their heads in games.

I don't have any interest in rowing with Spurs fans. And I actually think they have a great coach, and as Alli and Kane are likely to be regulars for England for the next decade: I have to keep some level of awareness in them.

But honestly, I don't think their history is as impressive as their fans argue, nor do I understand the sense of entitlement or bitterness over our club's "history" when really this is the best Tottenham team in my lifetime.

I'd be happy if I were a Spurs fan, and would try and be more generous when it comes to debating fans of other teams.

I know a fair number of credible blues on here, I am yet to find one Tottenham fan on here who doesn't hurl insults at Chelsea fans.
