A six pointer?

Am I missing something? Wasn't last night's result 'worth six points'? Doesn't seem to be much mention of that so far on these boards or in the press.

We beat Brighton, who have been excellent all season and who are also one of our bogey teams - and we kept a clean sheet again.

That was a fantastic result last night and could prove to be a turning point.

Well done to everyone at the club and particularly Gary Monk! If nothing else, it keeps an auto spot within reach - but it also restores the momentum at a critical time. Haven't we beaten all the top seven clubs now apart from the barcodes?

It's the first season we've enjoyed consistent success in a decade and more! Last night was worth six points and more, in my view!

Two good games since last break and it's no coincidence that Berardi was our right back in both those games

Which was the other game? I mean we were alright at Liverpool in the Cup, but they also played a weakened side and Wolves went there and beat them in the proper Cup. Speaking of the proper Cup, I thought we were pretty shocking for most of the game at Cambridge.

We are unbeaten in 7.

With 3 wins in the last 5

you look at Brighton who have 3 defeats in their last 5 and Huddersfield who have 2 defeats in their last five and you have to consider its possible.

We have also beaten 2 of the top 6th in those 5 games and got a draw at 7th (who were in cracking form when we beat them)

If you are Monk you cant look at the form guide and who we are beating and not say lets go for this.

Its possible, it will be difficult and a loss or two will make it impossible, but you got to go for it and make the players and fans believe it can be done

If you look at the remaining fixtures of the top 4 we've got it toughest out of the lot... Think top 2 is a massive ask now

Of course.

Realistically I would be very surprised (and delighted) if we hit the top 2.

However you got to go for it at this stage.

We have a chance next game to go 5 points clear of 5th and if Newcastle lose before they play us then we beat them and we could go into the last 3 games only three behind them.

Difficult, yes.
Near impossible, yes
Impossible, no

A shame with our dominant home form that three out of last eight games are at home but you never know.Looking at top two major meltdowns would be needed but it has happened before in football and it will happen again. The pressure is on them.

Our auto spot chances are less than 1 in 100.....,

and the rabid dogs down the road did the double over us

but apart from that
