I cannot imagine there has been any team that's been on TV more than we have over the last months be that league or cup we seem to have featured almost every week. A departure from last year and signs we have a more media savvy owner and a team that Sky feels is worth televising.
No brainer, works for both the club and Sky, Leeds high profile team will guarantee a large audience for Sky. For us chance to reach out to a larger audience.
It doesn't seem to have affected crowds and may have even have helped to increase interest.
Unfortunately we get a fraction of the money that Premier league teams get. Isn't it about time for a fairer doling out of money, if we get bigger TV audiences than Stoke, for example, shouldn't that be reflected in money the club gets.

The atmosphere and passion shown at a Leeds game is right up there as well. We were on TV loads when we were crap so its nothing to do with owners or league form. Its all about the coins

Isn't it all about viewing numbers?
Leeds' matches get the highest number of viewers, hence highest ad rates. I'd do it if i were Sky as would any other bu99er.

The league tv deals are a package deal and whoever has the rights will do better with ad sales for the glamour teams and less well with the others.
As a league the equitable distribution is evenly amongst all the clubs with higher prize money for the top teams. Seems fair.
