The upcoming summer...worse than 2011?

Just reading reports of Chelsea wanting to sign Sanchez. Whether true or not, it puts that sinking feeling into my stomach because I honestly have no idea what Arsenal are gonna do.

In 2011, there were those long, protracted sagas of Fabregas and Nasri. We all knew they were going, but the longer they stayed, the more hope you'd have of us keeping them. We eventually sold them late on and did that mad trolley dash of decent players, but nothing like what we sold. We were smashed 8-2 by United in the interim.

It's quite likely this summer could be worse:

- We don't know who our manager will be

- I'm sure everybody's seen the list of players whose contracts will run out in 2018

- If we do get a new manager, how far will the board go to back him?

There are more reasons but these are the main ones.

Brace yourselves guys, it's going to be one heck of a ride

You have momentum and only league games to think about though. We still have a lot of tough fixtures.

I'd honestly be surprised if we made top 4. I don't think the players care about it anymore.

The fa cup will show what's what

Yeah that's fair, Tu Meke. Things are looking ominous this season. I thought you'd do your thing and ger top four but recently things have started to change my mind. I think the City game could either be a turning point for you or a proverbial nail.

Anything other than a win against City, and it's pretty much confirmed for me that we won't get top 4, Darren.

Yeah seems about right. Even with enough ganes to go for you to get back in I just don't think the players will be able to lift themselves up and put un the run needed.

Wahl is forgetting that the players have practically given up. Bellerin for example seems to have lost 2 yards of pace in the space of a few months, just terrible. Kos looks like a pub player, Coq is awful etc.

Kebab dude you looked pretty bad in the second half of 2014 as well for example when you got thrashed by us and Liverpool.

You guys may be right, but I can easily see Wenger pulling top 4 off again. I'm not writing Arsenal off yet.

Yeah, but top 4 wasn't under threat that year. It is this year, and the players look like they've given up.

Arsenal will finish 4th this season after Liverpool collapse, Wenger will stay, Alexis will join Man City or someone, Arsenal will finish 4th next season...

It's all totally predictable.

Dear God i hope you're right about us finishing 4th this season.
