I cant see anything about Klopp and how he nullified the leagues top scorer..Lukaku. I will be honest i feared the worst when Lucas was named in the team to face Neverton, i always feel he gives away far too many fks in dangerous areas.
However, with Lallana and Henderson out Kloppp played Lucas as a shied in front of the back four, and for good reason; Lukaku was Nevertons biggest threat, and Klopp knew it, boom....stick lucas as the shield and tell him to get to Lukaku; it worked a treat, everytime the ball was hoofed (as Neverton do) Matip and Lovren competed for the first ball and the 2nd Lucas was absolutely brilliant at mopping up, in fact sometimes Lucas got to the ball before lukaku.
Lucas was instrumental in making the merseyside derby Lukakus (possibly) most ineffective game of the season;just thought someone should acknowledge Klopps and Lucas intelligence in the derby win

Lucas was outstanding. I feared the worst, as sometimes he can be a liability with his lack of pace and mobility, but he was excellent throughout.
Lukaku was completely nullified by Lovren, then Lucas winning the second ball.

Paisley, with a bouncing ball, Matip appears at times to be hesitant, sometimes worryingly so. There's times when you think the obvious answer is for him to get stuck in, and he doesn't.
