Was Craig Whyte set up?

http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/ex-rangers-owner-david-murray-10319183

David Murray’s lawyer knew about Craig Whyte’s plan to buy Rangers using Ticketus cash, a court heard yesterday.

The bombshell claim emerged from a note handwritten by the lawyer, David Horne, as a takeover deal was being considered in November 2010.

It looks like Craig Whyte was set up by the David Murray game be the fall guy.

I'm not totally sure on what basis it's being alleged Whyte is guilty of fraud. for one thing, it looks very much like he deceived Ticketus, by stating that he had not been disqualified as a director. Indeed a judge in a civil case in London has said so.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He has said from the outset he had tens of millions from his own money to invest.
£18m for Lloyds bank
£2.8m for HMRC
£5m for players
£5m for running costs and maintenance repairs

He had £4m which was borrowed from two separate sources

That is fraud because he intended to use the entire season ticket money for the next 3 years, even Timmy could see that's just not viable

Whyte is guilty but so is Murray

At least Whyte could run from Bubba."
