I appreciate that all thoughts will be focused on the game starting against Southampton. But it's been on my mind for some time. I've always been a supporter of Nathaniel Clyne, always putting him in front of Kyle Walker in an England shirt, but there's a player who in my view puts each of them in the shade.
I accept his position isn't RB, but he seems so versatile he could play anywhere. For the life of me I never understood why Spurs sold him to Newcastle, why Newcastle sold him to Palace; I can full understand why Rafa tried to buy him back north in January and failed. He played a blinder against us at Anfield the other Sunday. I was there that day and couldn't take my eyes off him. He's got a fantastic engine. And I would have him in the team tomorrow.

Well, normally I'm with you blav, I just think he's got a lot to offer. You cannot fault the boy's commitment when he is playing.

Hemd probably make a better left back than Moreno, to be fair. He's a terrible player, though. Would love Liverpool to sign him.

Probably not for this summer but we need to look for someone better than Clyne. Defensively he is a good RB but he is shocking going forward. Too many head down runs and hit and hope crossing. Maybe we should look to play Milner at right back or hopefully with a good preseason TAA could step up.
