Seems these Rangers boys can't get enough of Forest. 🤗

Our story is pretty well documented
From one frying pan to another fire

From the supposed well meaning to the outright alleged crookery

We are in a much better place now with people who have been life long fans

These chaps you have might be great but still worth watching closely

On the football I hope you do well
Big Davie remains a rangers legend
And warburton will give you good football to watch
Whether that will be enough to get you up will depend on the money available

Good luck on both topics

I still find it hard to believe we nearly went down.

But then we did sell Burke, we sold our player of the year goalie and got in two awful ones, we played Dumitru, Kasami and Bendtner...together, we had a failed takeover, sold our captain, changed manager, changed manager again, all whilst having a mentalist owner and an unfit squad.

We now have a manager in place who'll get a full preseason (plus, has already had nine games with them and has done well at this level), a restructuring of the club, a successful owner of another club, the breakthrough of Smith, Worral and Brereton, no more Bendtner or Fryatt on the books, no Fawaz in anyway shape or form, no threat of embargoes. We should even be able to bring in a few decent players and stay within FFP. Plus, clear communication, how nice is that!

Although players we want to hold onto may move to another club, we are worlds apart from where we were last season.

If Smith keeps out our other goalies then that alone is worth an extra ten points. With Stojokvic in goal we picked up just 17 points in 20 games. He also let in 36 goals.

Hopefully we get a kind early fixture list to build some momentum and get enough points on the board to be able to play like we know we can and enjoy our football.

Another 11 points would have have put us as high as 11th. I think with only half the nonsense happening this season and with all the positives, an extra 11 points is very achievable and should be our minimum target.

It's going to be a good season, because in all honesty it couldn't get any worse than 16/17.

Yes, we are definitely more wary after the failed five years of the Kuwaitis. Can't fault the new owners on what they have said so far but they'll be judged on their actions throughout the coming season. There are no guarantees in this modern version of football that whoever owns your club really has its best interests at heart. You just have to hope you are one of the lucky ones.

Warburton has a lot to prove. The criticism from Scotland will have hurt so we will hope it provides the impetus for him to prove you all wrong.

Bad Vlad. One of the least confident keepers I have ever seen at Forest. Anything in the air into the Forest area and he turned to jelly. He shirked so many challenges it was embarrassing. The nadir was the goal at SJP v Newcastle where it bobbled apologetically passed him off Gayle's chest. So poor. Montanier' biggest mistake to persevere with him when he was so obviously out of his depth.

Smith has been a breath of fresh air and is worth ten of Stoikovic through effort and application alone. He may be young and raw but the team and crowd were far more relaxed with him in goal. I think Forest would have definitely gone down if it wasn't for him.

Henderson should come good again once he has regained fitness but he will have a battle on his hands to get the shirt of this lad.

Most of the players that P.P recruited would make good third tier players. But not Vlad, perhaps he has just lost his confidence in a foreign country? He needs to be gone what ever.

He got noticeably worse the more games he played. He looked like he didn't want to be here. The defence had no confidence in him. You could tell that by their reactions whenever he conceded a goal.

A lot of the recruitment last summer was done on the fly, which is a recipe for disaster. O'Driscoll was recruiting in a similar timescale when he took over but managed to do a whole lot better as he had knowledge of the league and, in fairness, the Al Hasawi's hadn't totally lost the plot at that time!

I think it's pretty unanimous then. Smith, will get us another ten points. Phew...no relegation drama next season.

Bendtner...two goals and two assists in 15 games. Brereton...three goals and four assists in 18 games.

That's good for another ten points as well! Bloody hell were on 71 points now.

This is a playoff run!!

Anel to come in and be the new Viera...5 points.
A bit of luck...5 points.
A fully fit squad...and a few astute signings...10 points.

We've won't the league, we've won the league!!!!
