That's not what he said though. He said "I got fed up & tired of football".

Liverpool played almost the same number of games during 15/16 as United have this year but nobody @ Liverpool got "fed up and tired of football".

I'm sure Klopp was very fed up and tired after losing the league cup final, finishing 8th and missing out on CL qualification at the final hurdle.

Just because he didn't say it, doesn't mean it didn't happen.
