Transfer Window...

Well it's been a farce so far, losing out on our two first targets Van Dyke and Salah and embarrassing ourselves as a club.

Where do we go from here? I haven't seen many rumours since that farce. Reckon we will still sign VVD and Salah or has the ship sailed?

It's a farce that we lost out on an excellent transfer so amateurishly, VVD whilst expensive would have been exactly what we needed.

I don't really know many alternatives to VVD that we are looking at?

Chill we have a top manager and cl footy saan, signings will happen

I think we may still get VVD but I'm not holding my breath, the media keep rising the fee the last time I read to 100mil if it is true forget it.

If Van Dijk goes it'll be 50 million I Reckon, nothing higher.

The fees are never as high as our ridiculous media would have you believe.

I have a feeling the VVD transfer will still take place. He's got his heart set on working with Klopp and when the dust settles its possible we can revive the deal.

As for Salah, well I'm not sure he's a player worth paying over the odds for. Don't get me wrong he would be an exciting signing but don't forget how many duffers we have purchased from Italy for a sky high fee.

Aside from that Le Tiss his the nail on the head. We used to be classy in transfer dealings and now we are anything but. Thats borne of trying to get players on the cheap a typical classless ruse by our hapless owners.

Chelsea have now apparently made an illegal approach for VVD

Your comment was going so well until you had to get a dig in about the owners. The owners didn't try to get somebody on the cheap and once again I find myself telling you that the owners don't do negotiations they pay people for that. Not only that but it was them who forced the apology and called the deal off when they found out what happened.

Jesus you're relentless.

It's perhaps wishful - or naive? - thinking on my behalf that we might still sign VVD. LFC's conduct over the matter a farce? I think not. The only difference here is that, unlike the vast majority of deals, all done through the proverbial smoke and mirrors, Southampton had decided to go live.for me, not the best of moves for them either.

The sole question to be asked, and no doubt will remain unanswered is, what's VVD's take on this?
Has he or his agent spoken with the board? Has he submittted a transfer request? Is there any truth that his preferred choice of club is LFC?

I accept that some of these question may well form part of any negotiation. What I am confident about is though, that we won't hear any part of it,we will be kept completely in the dark.

Fine by me, as long as we get who Jurgen wants.
