Nottingham Forest will kick start the new Championship season with a home game against a Millwall side managed by former Reds' striker Neil Harris at the City Ground.
The newly-promoted Lions will provide the first opposition on Saturday, August 5, before Forest themselves head to the capital for a game against Mark Warburton's former side, Brentford, the following weekend, on August 12.
The end of August will witness a few big fixtures at the City Ground, with both newly-relegated Middlesbrough and old rivals Leeds United set to visit.
Forest make the long trip to Sunderland's Stadium of Light on Tuesday, September 12.
But the big games all Forest fans will be looking out for most are the East Midlands derby clashes with Derby County – and the first of those, at the iPro, arrives on Saturday, October 14.
The Rams come to the City Ground closer towards the end of the campaign, on Saturday March 10.

Christmas and New Year period looks tough.

Is the home game against the sheep on the 10th march too soon for our promotion party as champions??!! 😂😂 🎉🎉🎉😜😜
Seriously though...... it's amazing the difference a few weeks makes, since that numpty's shadow has been lifted from the city ground.
I'd be happy with mid table with a possible flirt with the play offs, playing top entertaining football, watching a group of young talented lads gelling as a team......

With 15 games gone we'll have played: S Weds, Sunderland, Villa, Derby, Hull and Reading Away!
Plus: Boro, Leeds and Fulham at Home.
So, all 3 relegated sides, the 3 play-off sides, plus Derby, Leeds and Villa.
If we manage to somehow get off to a good start then we'll be in the mix come the end of the season. Winning breeds success and that's a tough set of fixtures!

Normally if you are at home on the opening day you are home on the last day, but not this season for some reason. Starting off against a promoted team at home. As with Burton last season, just hope this isn't an omen. By Bolton away I wouldn't like a scenario like last season, again hopefully, this season will be less fretful.

They have also managed to have Forest, Notts and Mansfield at home on the same day twice next season! That'll all need sorting out.

Also, the opener v Millwall will more than likely get moved to the Sunday as it is Notts CCC v Durham CCC in the T20 at Trent Bridge. There is no way they'd allow both to go ahead at the same time.
Plus I would like to watch both!

deja vu, newly promoted team visit CG on opening day, managed by an ex-red, hopefully the same outcome.👍

Hmm I can make a case for losing our first 12 games 😱
Unsure what's wrong with me, normally fairly optimistic 🤔

I can see a bit more of a steady start then the goalfests of last season.

All those games seem winnable,
Can't see why we wouldn't get a steady 138 points
