Our fortunes pretty much changed for the better when Wenger (finally) listened to the voice of reason and switched us to 3-4-3. I was happy to hear Wenger reveal that we shall be maintaining that formation. This is good news to me. We have been awfully stale with that worn out 4-3-3/4-3-2-1 and imo i think players like Xhaka, Holding and Ox finally had some sublime games for us thanks to this new formation.
I give Wenger some props for sticking with this formation as i feel it should take a while for opponents to figure out how to dominate us when we play with this formation. Chelsea was blown away during the FA Cup final as we systematically wore them down.
On a related note, I hope we keep Giroud (I can't believe I said that aloud) but i do feel an attack force of Giroud, Laca, Welbeck, Sanchez and Walcott will allow some freshness to the team. With some shrewd rotating, we can keep the likes of Welbeck injury free and also once in a while have a striking combo of Giroud & Laca against stop testy away defences like Stoke and West Brom which could actually unlock those stubborn defences.
3-4-3

People read too much into stuff like formations. I'm not saying it's irrelevant, but it wasn't some magical solution. Last season maintained a consistent trend of picking up a lot of points at the end of the season after meekly bowing out of the title race. Unfortunately for us, the likes of City and Liverpool picked up the points they needed too.
What matters shouldn't be whether we play 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-3 or 1-0-9 or whatever, but that our manager can learn to react and adapt to developing situations rather than the same, old predictable sheite week after week, and parking his wrinkled ass on the bench and making predictable 80th minute subs.

It works as long as we will be found out.
Agree with Sheriff....The variety of tactical approach is what brings us success longterm.
The change of the system brought us stability as our player adapt quickly to the new system and it fit most of the players.
It doesnt mean it is working forever.

Wenger is out of date, I have always complained how reactive manager he is sometimes even brain dead...TBH fans need to pay 3-4-3 works and despite having dead beat for a manager.

Wenger out of date....that is why he managed to be in his job for over 20 year alone at Arsenal.

Do you have memory problem? Just because he signs some players does not make mean fk all...Wenger is still outdated manager who should not be managing this club. His record last decade speak for itself.
