TP and the board are of the same opinion of us, cox.

They know we need the players. They just want to add the right players. The likes of Joe Ledley/Marc Wilson could have been brought in weeks ago. But we are aiming for a higher quality signing. Going to be a busy week for sure.

P.s would take Janssen in a heart beat. Wimmer also.

Stoke and Palace interested in Wimmer though.

Just how many defenders do Stoke want? It must be our turn now to see one of these rumours through. These two would be very good additions to the squad.

It's rumoured City are going to up their offer for Evans to £25 million!

As long as we get enough to replace Evans with, say Gibson or Sissoko, then, if he wants to leave, let him go.
If he ends up 3rd or 4th choice at City then it will be his loss.
After 2 years of dogged defending for us and very regular premier league action, he will miss it if he ends up being wheeled out for cup games at City.

Interesting. I'd say LB is still pretty urgent as a serious injury to Brunt and we are struggling. Possibly 2CB's if/when Evans goes as we were after one before the City link. Sakho although a lot to fork out would be perfect and better than Gibson IMO. A creative midfielder if Chadli goes. Then another forward. Janssen would be ideal. Hopefully not that lump Deeney.
