Welcome to the 606 Match day thread for Town v Southampton.
You may remember our 2 seasons with the saints in League 1 in 2009/10 & 2010/11 loads of banter with them on the old 606.
Southampton had a 10 point deduction that first season & finished 7th ( would have been 6th without the reduction ) we finished 6th & lost that awful play off against Millwall.
The season after we battled both Southampton & Brighton for the auto’s , we failed & failed in the play offs AGAIN at Old Trafford against our friends NOT from Peterborough.
Look at us both now ! PREMIER LEAGUE.
Southampton got another promotion a year later & are now established in the Premier League…
We however are NOT.
A brilliant start yes, long season ahead ….. probably…
Loving the place atm, the feel good factor is just that….GOOD, even great…
6 points are great from 2 games, can we make it 9…?
This will be our hardest test by far….Glad Smith has now got some completion for his place from Hadergjonaj…………. & with the other new boy… Abdelelhamid coming in yet another great week to be a Town fan……
Another big crowd for Saturday, & I am expecting a victory !!

I know. They sorted it whilst we were on holiday. Ive got the day off too! Finally, resting up, I've had a bad lower back for three weeks!

Dont know if you get tsnw on your mag box hydy?...a canadian chanel...they have a daily prem league show a bit like sky really but its made in the uk and looks like its bbc to me?
They had ian wright and shay given on last night and they had a good feature on goalkeepers and centered on lossl saying he is top quality and that his save against the toon is the best goalkeeping save so far this season...also praising our defence!
Worth a watch if you can get it
